I found a friend online today - hurray! His name is Leif Hanson, he's from north west America, and describes himself as a 'provocatuer'of traditional evangelical christian beliefs. He has some great podcasts for download, particularly of note are his Brian McLaren interviews, which are very thought provoking. Click the link in my sidebar.
His background is very evangelical, Vineyard to be specific, and has studied theology at Regents College, which I think is in Canada.

hi david, i'm having a growing sense of the wonderful connectivity of the internet at the minute - i checked your brothers blog for the second time ever the other day to discover an entry about my blog, and i just discovered your comment there now. i have actually seen your blog once already - got the link from andrew of course - loved the Jonny Cash entry.
the url for the bleeding purple show is in the sidebar of my blog. i find the podcasts echo a lot of my own questions - very helpful and hopeful in the way they are framed too, not all scepticism. infact thats probably what the title is all about, keeping a balance between two extremes of blue and red = purple. good to read you, and thanks for your kind words.
